Tarot for Beltane

At Beltane, we celebrate the beginning of a season of abundance and fertility.

Many neopagans recognize this festival as the marriage of the Goddess and the young God who was born at Yule—whether he’s known as the Horned God, the Oak King, or the Green Man.

For this two-card reading, I am using the Lovers as a querent card. The Lovers represents the possibility of constructing a true self that lies beyond—or maybe beneath?—the gender binary. This reading is informed by the work of Carl Jung, but not limited by it.

What I Do

First, I draw two cards for you, and then I see what I see. I will be drawing cards on May 1. It will take me several days to process and describe what I see, and I thank you for your patience.
